Where are you located?
We are located at 262 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Ontario. The closest intersection is Elgin Street and Somerset Street West.
Do you accept orders by email, phone, or in person?
Yes, we are happy to take your order for flowers or plants via email email@example.com, over the phone 613.232.1733 or in person.
Can I customize my bouquet?
Of course. Selections vary daily, but we welcome your requests and will do our best to honour your wishes. Please call the shop in advance of the delivery date if you have a very specific flower request.
Do the flowers include a vase?
Not always, that is up to you. We offer “cut flower bouquets” that the recipient can place in their own vase, or our designer can arrange blooms in a vase “vase arrangement”.
Can I include a personalized message with my order?
Yes. All of our notes are handwritten and it is our pleasure to communicate your message.
I see you have 4", 6", 8", 10" plants listed on your website. What does that mean?
We receive our plants from the growers in different diameters of plastic grow/nursery pots. So when we say 4", 6", 8", or 10" we are referring to the diameter of the grow/nursery pot and not the height or width of the plant.
I would like to purchase a ceramic pot for my plant, but I don't see it online. How can I purchase one?
We are more than happy to discuss plant pot options with you if there isn't the one you want available online. Feel free to give us a call 613.232.1733 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are all the plants shown on your website everything that is available in the shop?
With both an online and retail presence sometimes our plants find their forever homes before we are able to offer them online. Keep an eye out on our social media for news regarding our plants. Check out our Instagram Stories @Scrimsflorist as we unpack new plants weekly! Our selection changes often, so come visit!
I have a specific type of plant that I'm looking for, but I don't see it available on your website.
We are always on the hunt for cool and interesting plants. If you are looking for something in particular send us an email info@scrimsflorist and we can add your request to our plant wishlist book. Let us know how you would like us to contact you if we are lucky enough to find your dream plant!
I have a question regarding one of my plants. Can I contact you?
Yes, send your plant questions to email email@example.com with a photo of your plant and we will do our best to help you!
How do flower subscriptions work?
Our subscription service allows you to preschedule flower deliveries to the recipient of your choice. Select your size and 3 arrangements will be delivered on dates and locations specified by you.
Can I customize my subscription?
Absolutely! The dates, colours, and card messages are up to you.
Do you do deliveries?
Yes, we use a specialty floral delivery service for our deliveries. Deliveries occur between 11am-6pm Monday-Saturday.
Where do you offer local delivery?
The delivery service we use delivers within the greater Ottawa area, Kanata, Orleans, Stittsville, Nepean, Barrhaven and parts of Gatineau. If you are unsure about if they can deliver to a certain address, just give us call us and we can let you know.
Can I request a specific time for my delivery?
If you need a specific time for delivery, please give us a call 613.232.1733. Please note, that there may be an additional fee for a rush or timed delivery.
Do you offer same day delivery?
We try and honour same day delivery requests as often as possible. Please give the shop a call at 613.232.1733.
Do you have a minimum for delivery?
We have no minimum value for delivery. We are happy to deliver a single bloom if that is your request.
How much is your delivery fee?
The delivery fee when ordering online is $16 and will be included in your order checkout.
Can I order flowers to multiple recipients online?
Please do! Our website allows for more than one delivery per order.
What happens if no one is home?
If you think there is a concern that there might not be someone home, please let us know. We can give the recipient a call to arrange a convenient time for them to receive a delivery. Depending on weather and location, our delivery service may try and deliver to a neighbour. In some cases, the delivery service will return the flowers to us and we would arrange for a different delivery time.
Do I need to have an account to be able to order?
No, you can check out as a guest.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payment with all of the following providers:

How do I know if my order has been successful?
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed.
