What are your hours?
Monday CLOSED

Where are you located?
We are located at 262 Elgin St. in Ottawa.

Do you accept orders by email, phone, or in person?
Yes, you may place an order for flowers or plants 

Flowers

Can I customize my bouquet?
Of course. Selections vary daily, but we welcome your requests and will do our best to honour your wishes. Please call the shop in advance of the delivery date if you have a very specific flower request.

Do the flowers include a vase?
Not always, that is up is up to you.  We offer “cut flowers” that the recipient can place in their own vase, or our designer can arrange blooms in a vase “vase arrangement”.

Do you offer same day delivery?
We try and honour same day delivery requests as often as possible. Please place your order by 10 a.m. for same day delivery.

Do you have a minimum for delivery?
We have no minimum value for delivery. We are happy to deliver a single bloom if that is our customer’s request.

How much is your delivery fee?
Our delivery fee is $16 and will be included in your order checkout.

Will you let me know when the flowers are delivered?
Yes! You will receive an email confirmation sent to your email address when the flowers have been delivered.

Can I order flowers to multiple recipients online?
Please do! Yes, our on-line allows for more than one delivery per order.

What happens if no one is home?
Before COVID our delivery service would try and deliver to a neighbour. During these times however, the service would return the flowers to us and we would arrange for a different delivery time. 

Can I include a personalized message with my order?
Yes. All of our notes are handwritten and it is our pleasure to communicate your message. 

Plants

How do I make my plants last longer?
 

How do I make my plants last longer?
We will include a care card for all of the plants and are always happy to chat about the care. Each plant has specific watering requirements and will depend on the amount of light, room temperature and humidity. 

My plant is dying, what do I do?
Please send us a photo info@scrimsflorist.com and we will try and help you with the problem. Watering issues are the number one problem, but send us a snap.

Flower Subscriptions

How do flower subscriptions work?
Our subscription service allows you to preschedule flower delivery to the recipient of your choice. Select your size and 3 arrangements will be delivered on dates and locations specified by you.

Can I customize my subscription?
Absolutely! The dates, colours, card messages are up to you. 

Local Delivery

Where do you offer local delivery?
We deliver to the greater Ottawa area, Kanata, Orleans, Stittsville, Nepean and Barrhaven.

Payments

Do I need to have an account to be able to order?
No, you can check out as a guest.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept payment with all of the following providers:

How do I know if my order has been successful?
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed. 

Exchanges and Refunds

We hope you never need to exchange or refund, however please call the shop if you have a concern and we always work something out.
