About the Black Mission Fig Tree
The Mission fig is a popular variety of the edible fig. It was first introduced to the United States in 1768 when Franciscan missionaries planted it in San Diego.

Water: It is best to water when the top two inches of soil are dry and then remove any excess standing water after about 15 minutes to help prevent rotting the roots over time.
