Native wildflower species common in North American. Aromatic lavender blossoms highly attractive to pollinators. Leaves strong aroma / flavour to dishes. Used by medicinally by Indigenous people. Companion plants: Echinacea, Phlox, Rudbeckia, Eupatorium, Tomato.  Far from: Potato, Cucumber, Watermelon, Eggplant. Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside. It can be transplanted outside as early as spring or early summer. Transplant outside when plant reaches 3-4” in height. It can also be direct sow outside from early spring up until 8 weeks before the first frost in the fall.Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks. Harvesting tip: Harvest leaves starting first year. Flowers blooms in second year.
