Great variety for bunched side shoots. Sturdy 20 inch plant, topped with 6 inch dark blue green heads with medium to large beads and long stalks. Cold tolerant for fall maturity. Heat sensitive.
Companion plants: Alliums, Lettuce, Brassicas (except Mustard), Oregano, Bush Bean, Celery, Rosemary.
Far from: Asparagus, Nightshades, Strawberry, Mustard, Climbing Beans.
Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 12H is recommended for improved germination. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before planting date. Plant outside as soon as the change of hard frost has passed.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when heads are still tight. Check often as heads loosen. Cool right after harvest to maintain quality.
Storage tip: Store at 0°C for 1-2 weeks.
