Gorgeous long flower spike in shades of bright blue and pure silvery-white flower. 13″ plants. Do well in any soil type. Drought tolerant. Attractive to pollinators.
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 1 weeks. Plant salvia by seed outdoors after all danger of frost has passed in the spring. To encourage continuous blooms throughout the season, deadhead spent flowers periodically. At the end of the season, leave flowers on plants to encourage reseeding (and to feed the birds).
Harvesting tip: For harvest either as a fresh or dried flower, harvest when the bottom 3–4 flowers have opened. Hang to dry.
