This heirloom tomato from Switzerland showcases a rich, dark rose-pink hue. With a meaty texture and delicate skin, it strikes an excellent harmony between sweet and tart flavors. The medium-sized fruits, weighing around 5 ounces, are resistant to cracking. INDETERMINANT.
Companion plants: Basil, Parsley, Carrot, Asparagus, Alliums, Celery, Borage, Marigold, Calendula, Mint, Sage, Peppers, Dill (until mature).
Far from: Potato, Corn, Kohlrabi, Beet, Fennel, Peas, Squash.
Planting tip: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting. Reduce water & nitrogen when hardening off. Staking required.
Harvesting tip: For best taste harvest when fully ripe, expressed its full colour. Can also harvest when tomato is green and expressed its 1st blush; if so, let tomato ripen off-vine above 21°C.
Storage tip: Store at 12-21°C, relative humidity 95%.
