Plant produces heavy yields of 2″ long small cucumbers that look like miniature watermelons. They have the sweet cucumber flavor, followed by a surprising sourness, which leads you to believe they are already pickled! Perfect for making tiny sweet pickles! They fall off the vines when ripe. Should use trellises when growing this variety. Planting tip: Start transplant 3-4 weeks before planting date. One can also direct sow as soon as all the danger of frost has passed. Cucumber prefer air °T of of 21°C. Harvesting tip: Harvest cucamelons when they are about the size of a grape. Harvest often when they are young and tender for the best flavor. Storage tip: Store at 10-12°C w/ 95% humidity for up to 10 days.
