Zamioculcas Zamiifolia ZZ Plants, but in raven black!
Light: While they would prefer an environment with bright, indirect sunlight, they will tolerate an environment with low light too.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. After watering, make sure the plant drains fully. Do not allow the plant to sit in water for more than an hour as this will cause root rot.
Your ZZ's leaves will accumulate dust overtime, which interferes with the flow of carbon dixoide into the plant and the resulting outflow of oxygen into the room. Clean the leaves by placing one hand under the leaf and with your other hand gently wipe the surface using a damp microfiber cloth. Keeping your plant regularly free of dust as part of your plant care routine is not only great for the plant, but also for you!
Air Purifying: Yes.
Toxicity: Toxic to animals and people.
Growth Rate: Slow growing.
Common Names: ZZ
Origin: East Africa
*Please note: Plants may not look exactly as shown.
