About the Hypoestes Polka Dot Plant
How sweet are these little crawlers? Hypoestes comes in three variants at our store: white, pink, and red! These cute little polka-dot plants are a charming way of bringing colour into your home!

Light: Bright indirect light
Water: Allow the top layer of soil to dry out, about 25% dry before watering. These plants like moisture, but not sogginess. After watering, make sure the plant drains fully. Do not allow the plant to sit in water for more than an hour as this will cause root rot.
Hypoestes will let you know when it needs water, though, by going limp!
Difficulty: Moderate
Feed: Feed monthly during the spring and summer.
Air Purifying: Yes, known to be effective at removing benzene, toluene, and trichloroethylene from the air.
Toxicity: Non-toxic, pet-friendly.
Growth Rate: Slow growing.
