About the Yucca Cane
The Yucca Cane (Yucca elephantipes or gigantea) is a popular, low-maintenance indoor plant known for its thick, woody trunks and sharp, sword-shaped leaves. Native to Mexico and Central America, it requires bright, indirect light and very little water, making it ideal for beginners, though it can suffer from root rot if overwatered.
Key Care Guidelines:
Light: Thrives in bright, direct light but can tolerate lower light conditions.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, roughly every 2–3 weeks, as it thrives on neglect.
Soil: Use well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix.
Temperature & Humidity: Thrives in average household temperatures and prefers low to moderate humidity.
Safety: Non-toxic to humans, but generally safe to keep away from pets.
Please note: Plants may not look exactly as shown. The number of buds and/or blooms will also vary.
